Friend I do?

I am sorry if, my postings conveyed this message....but I am not against any religion or Dharma..Its only when I see miseries due to some one and that too when he does some thing in the name of some religion, I try to discuss it with others.
I am unfortunate to be in a nation whose constitution says its secular...but in no way it has remained secular. Secular does not mean one has to be tolerant to some minority religion which attacks other religion followers.
One who is living in a place where law of the land is very important may not realise it at present. Please note that I dont have hate for any one...its just that I wish to know how can these irritants from any religion be checked.
I believe in" Religion is devised to keep people happy and in peace togather"

Hi Gordon, The notion that our opinion and the collective voice is not needed is nonsense freedom can slip away . . . while we voiced our displeasure with the occupation Tibet the opperants of the People's Republic with fascist tactics undermined and recently took over Nepal through the democratic process. We must be diligent and relentless in our cause. We must be at peace with our selfs. We must be noisy when we need to be. We must use passive resistance when necessary. Sorry not got on this site for a while - trying t catch up on marking etc. I will look round the site more when I get clear of the backlog - book editing has thrown out all my other work! (and I've just got the final proofs back..)

Two kids and nursing sounds pretty hectc though, so I've no excuse. My child filled days were some time ago, but I had three under two and a half at one stage... my eldest was 2yrs 4mths when I had twins. Enjoy it - they are lovely.
