Consider for a moment, what it would be like to be a wild animal.
A bird, a wolf, a whale, a deer...
To live among waves, or forests
To see humans from an "outside" perspective.

To see the roads and ships and factories
to taste the change in the water, the smell of the air.

If you were one of these and you lived your life in the wild places,
what could you do to change what is being done?

Would not even from your own eyes see the need?
Would not even from your own eyes see,
that as a non human, there is little if anything that you could do?

Would you not have to be a human, in order to do anything about this?
Would it then not make easy to understand sense, that if you were a wolf,
that you would want to find a way to reach a human animal,
and open his eyes?
And then send him back among his own kind to open theirs?

I was a child in the wilderness.
Does anyone think, that a 12 year old child in the wilds of Alaska
could survive for those years until he was 18,
without any help?
I was adopted.
It was not by humans.

It was not without, asking something, in return.

What, can I do, to help here, to save this world
from what humans are doing to it?
How, do I protect the lives of those
who protect and protected mine?

How do I stop my own kind, from destroying what is left of this earth?
How, do I protect them, for protecting, their hope that humans would listen?

SaveNaturefree:
I notice you changed your handle, and your site has also had much work done to it since I first when there (looking good!).
But I cannot join, in part because of the conditions set on doing so.

But more behind something else that also has to do with what Clicia Pavan's image says (but I note her typed words do not say it in that way, as what is coming from her self seems to be more open to freedom rather than "the way").
Her words reflect that freedom even greater than my own did.

I have lived as a child for many years without seeing another human, or what few I did see, I hid from them so they would not see me, and would leave my camp to be farther away.
Many times it was airplanes with floats on them that would land in lakes, then they would get out, shoot an animal they did not know, cut off its head, and taking it with them then leave.
So my exposure to humans was limited, nor was it ever very positive.
When I knew I had become a legal adult, I left the wilds, and came to a city (Fairbanks Alaska) and watched for some days at a safe distance from it, trying to get over my fear and revulsion of humanity before I went into the town.
And I will be honest that a part of me did not want to do this thing, but wanted to destroy all of humanity for destroying this world.
One of the first things that took place was someone gave me a ride in a car to the city, they gave me clothing to blend in with others, and cut my hair that had not seen a comb nor soap in many years.
I started to re-learn how to talk, in human English.
I learned also that I had to become like others in order to survive with my own kind, to get a job, then get a car, then rent a building to live in (but slept outside the whole time because I could not handle it well being "inside").
To me humans were destroyers. And to blend in, I had to become one too.
Later when I became an adult and sought more to conform, and did not do so well at it, because I was sick with myself for contributing to destroying the earth, I was divorced. And did try again but that too failed because only money was what was respected and not much money in living with the earth, more, if I destroyed it.
I found a half way point, and lived in a tipi. But then they came and took my child and told me if I wanted him back I again had to move to town, live like everyone else, get a car all of it, or never have my child back.
So I find it hard to conform. To any who say "this is the way" and also feel shame as I read even my own words below saying "we have to change", because that is telling others to change, no less than I was told I had to.
To be like everyone else.
I do not wish to tell the world to change.
Nor do I wish to see this earth destroyed.
Nor will I any longer "conform" to the ways of humans.
I reserve my right to be me, and your right to walk your own paths.
I will earn enough money to buy my freedom, to buy land again as I am told I have to, then will live out my life, on my terms, because the one child of mine they still have, they refuse to give him his freedom and I already know that even if I destroy my life for them, it will not be good enough.
He was told I am dead. They refused to let me even tell him, his own father loves him.
It is hard for me, to even want to help humanity.
But if I do not, I do nothing, to help stop this destruction.

I come here in a good way,
Please forgive me if I say go "this way" because that is what has been forced on me since the day I left the wilderness.
I have no wish to do this, back.

Peace.
And all those, who seek to walk the path of peace, even if far different than my own, I may not walk your path, but I will call those who care about saving this earth from the destruction of humanity, by peaceful means and solutions,
my friends.
Again, please forgive me if even still I do not know the right words to say.
I mean no disrespect to anyone.
But quite the opposite, especially here, where hearts ARE, in the right place.
Even though this is not something I'm used to with humans.

Learn to love those who do not look like you, who seem
different and far from your culture and your history.
Others are mirrors of yourself.
Without them you would have an incomplete happiness.

I am not a pacifist,
I am not passive
I am a warrior,
with one chance to live this life.

I do not seek peace.
I seek with all that I am,
to walk the walk of peace,
And let peace find me.

I agree with all..
Other than the one word in the image below, "Only".
I think love and union, provide ample motive to save the world, and is a good starting place, but without change, we keep going the same direction.
Our air gets more filthy, as dose our water, and oddly enough, we the people keep going more broke also.... gee go figure the two might just go hand and hand.
I think people have been "sold" on this way of living as the "American dream" but that is what is on the TV put there by advertisers to sell the products that are supposed to "be" that dream and sell the public "that" dream, to sell the products.
I dont watch TV, I have not seen a TV commercial in around a year and a half NOT ONE commercial. That is trying to sell me on something, a way of life, I never wanted.
But if I buy a car, I have to keep paying, to drive it, or even if I park it I have to pay insurance on it. It cost more on insurance (before even adding the cost of gas) than it does to feed my horse.
Every month... how much is spent on electricity (money from how many pockets going into one centralized place), gas (same here too), insurance (same), that hamburger,... I remember the comercials trying to sell the masses, to buy from a huge company, and what about the small family run businesses?
They go out of business because they cant compete.
Why?
Because WE keep buying it.

Want equal distribution of wealth?
Stop buying from the rich multinational corporations,
and START buying from you neighbors.

STOP buying that "dream" that is advertised,
and start buying peace and love and saving this earth, instead.
This is another commercial, for the different dream.
Support each other, buy what EVER you need, from the poorest person you know.
Not the multimillionaires, who could care less how many families go out of business, or how they take your money every month while you pay for your ability to survive... all it takes is paying attention, to who your giving your money to. Do you want to support large corporations?
Or each other?
I stopped paying them to drill for oil, were our fish come from.
I stopped paying them to drill for oil in wilderness areas that are irreplaceable.
I stopped paying them, to pollute my air, and water, so I have to buy water.

Economics are not hard to understand, just read the above.

The more of us the sooner we do
CHANGE, and put up wind generators and solar panels and convert our cars to electric (even if not easy who says change is easy? who says the multinational corporations WANT it to be easy?)
The sooner we change the sooner we become an example for our neighbors.
And you'll be amazed how friendly they are, when the come to you to ask you how you did it.
And if I get rich doing what I'm doing (its heading that way), I have no need for a large area of land, no need for a large house, no need for a fancy car.
I want to own very LITTLE, and live simply, that others can simply live.
I dont want that dream they are trying to sell me.

I want to help this world I live in, live cleaner, live healthier, and wealthier all at the same time.
What good would it be to be a millionaire if all those around me are poor?
I would rather live equally, and improve on what that means.

Sincere Friendship Clicia Pavan

The smile is a sincere joy of sharing
the best moments with friends

Words that do not sound superficial
because
leaving the heart of the soul
The essence that nurture the
joy of the heart
who loves with sincerity

The silence of listening
Try to learn with humility and wisdom
without criticism or charges

The friend with the tears that we shed
Without feeling humiliated or neglected

That look forward free of truths, true
We know the small slide forgive

It is good to have a sincere friend
What your heart see further than your eyes

See with your heart to be just friends
And together go in search of peace and a better world

OH! I almost forgot, in addition to what I say directly below?
I figured out the other day how much $ I've saved over the 35 years I've been doing this.
$168,000 USD (just, well, another little incentive???? besides helping save our oceans, our drinking water, our soils that get polluted when the rains wash out those fumes into our food supplies, you know, the peace that comes from living WITH the earth instead of OFF of it? There is always that nice selfish motive of saving a HUGE amount of MONEY, and if you cant pay your power bill? You STILL have power for LIFE because you dont HAVE a power bill!)
Please help save our planet, yourself some money, and let your children have clean water and clean air, and have fun all at the same time!
This is a win/win/win/win thing here folks, and you dont need a fortune to start small, but to START. And the more $ you save, the more solar panels and wind generators you can get! Until like me, because very soon, I'm going to have far more power than I can use (so I use my extra, to heat my trailer!) I use Alaskan blizzards (after my batteries are full) to HEAT my place!
And I laugh, and giggle, and DANCE around my electric heaters too!
It NEVER gets old!
There is a feeling, that comes from watching those wind generators spin and the sun on those panels, I cant even put into words but puts a smile on my face even after 35 years.
That, to me, is priceless.

Peace!
I have strong winds all night and batteries full power going strong from a nice day yesterday of full sun shine on my solar panels.
My batteries I rescued from the trash (where they should not have been) my solar panels are recycled from a concentrator experiment that discolored them so they put out less power but only cost me $2.50 USD per watt (a good way to comparison shop for alternative energy is by the cost per watt) but that was around 30 years ago and I'm STILL getting almost the same amount of power (slightly less after 3 years when the discoloration stabilized). I'm typing on a recycled laptop, and most of my wind generators are recycled or recycled parts.
Larry (2 comments down) sells solar panels and wind generators (one kind of wind generator last I checked and please dont get and Air403 if your IN TOWN or you can help create laws against wind generators in towns because of the noise, not all are noisy please ask Larry for more info on what that brand IS good for!)
Saying this because I point that out about this one kind of wind generator, but I dont want Larry to think I feel negative about what he is doing I only want him to be aware and careful of that fact and hopefully to avoid selling that kind to people who live in towns!
Larry belongs here at iPeace, many post here in this group about meditation and prayer for saving this planet earth. Please accept that ANY move towards peace on earth helps to save it!
Please also support those at iPeace who have solutions like Larry offers, rather than buy from companies who dont care about peace but ONLY profit!
Larry and others are examples of people working towards world peace AND making a living actually helping create this peace AND saving this planet!

Today I get to work on getting yet another wind generator into the air!
Like I did with my solar panels, I started SMALL and keep adding on. Even if you buy one small solar panel, some rechargeable batteries a small volt meter, you have then free, POLLUTION free (other than what was used to make these things) radio for life, and if you take care of them (other than perhaps your batteries) you can also pass this on to the next and next and next generations for FREE music!
One small solar panel, can power a portable CD player with external plug in speakers.
IMAGINE, listening to your favorite CD powered by SUNLIGHT! Guilt free, PEACEful living with the earth and FREE for life?!
It is SO COOL!
And one way to START getting familiar with using solar. Once you try that? Your going to be HOOKED!

Last year (2008) before I got things going here (I was homeless) I had to use a gas generator for when I had no wind nor sun for a while and my batteries were also not very good (again none of them are new all of them came from the trash) I had to use $77.45 USD in gas for the ENTIRE YEAR.
So far? Because I still have 4 more wind generators to put up (start small add on as you can afford to), and a bunch of factory seconds (chipped cells) solar cells to make into panels, I've used around $0.75 in gas for my generator.
And able to work online around 10 hours a day each and every day!
And lights, and radio, DC player, 12 volt drill to run my grain grinder, a small (cost me $35 USD new) inverter to convert 12 volt to household current, my coffee grinder (to grind my coffee I get from a coffee grower I met at iPeace).
Guilt free, free power for LIFE and I keep on adding more.

Yes I am BRAGGING I am flaunting this, I am showing off how cool what I'm doing is, "be jealous!" HA HA! Jealous Enough, to start out and get your self a solar powered radio (best to try and make your own so you learn this stuff rather than buy one already made).
Its an inexpensive way to get experience, using SUNLIGHT to make MUSIC!

I'm not selling anything... Okay I AM, I'm selling a feeling of absolute GIDDINESS, PEACE, JOY! And thats not just how you'll feel about the money you save over your and your children's lifetimes, but knowing your helping totally literally, to SAVE THIS EARTH!
I'm saying all this, because I wish everyone
PEACE.
I live this way, I dont have to find peace!

It has found ME!
