Age of Aquarius "At dawn on 14th February the day dedicated to St Valentine, the
patron saint of Love, the Moon in Libra enters the seventh house of
relationships. And Jupiter and Mars are aligned in Aquarius in the
twelfth house of spiritual transformation.
Forty years ago, the intuitive words of a song called Aquarius,
brought the dawning of the new age into our collective awareness:
I'll be traveling down to southern Mexico to witness the light show at Mayan Chichen Itza Kukulkan
El Castillo is a "time temple" that sheds light on the Mayan astronomical system An impressive 78 feet tall, the temple's name means "castle" in Spanish. El Castillo was actually a huge solar calendar. If you did the math, you would find that the 91 steps on each side, times 4 for each side and each season, plus 1 for the crowning platform… Continue

‘‘Se promenant dans les airs
Deux grands yeux d’Ange
Regardent notre Terre
‘‘Bleue comme une Orange’’
Un enfant yeux ouverts
S’interroge et dérange
Dans ce nouveau Millénaire
Pour qu’enfin l’Homme change.’’
L’ange compte à voix haute :
- 2000 ! J’ajoute 1…
- Egale 2001, répond l’enfant.
- Et je retiens ‘‘1’’, précise l’ange.
- Mais NON affirme l’enfant, il n’y a pas de retenue !
- Si ! Insiste l’ange. Il y a toujours la Retenue.… Continue

A few years ago, I had the honour of interviewing Alice Walker for my feature documentary, Fierce Light: When Spirit Meets Action. Today is Friday, Feb. 20, and the beginning of week 4 of the Season For Nonviolence. Our thought for today is MISSION.
“My life is my message” said Gandhi. Gandhi’s mission was to be nonviolent. What do you want to stand for in your life? Do you know your life’s mission?
Today: I will write down what I stand for in my life. I will note at least one way I can show, through action, that I stand for my beliefs. I will develop a personal mission… Continue

Brian Tracy calls it "the greatest principle in the history of
mankind."
"The Law of Cause and Effect says that everything happens for a
reason. For every effect in your life, there is a cause, or series
of specific, measurable, definable, identifiable causes.
"This law says that if there is anything you want in life, an
effect that you desire, you can find someone else that has achieved
the same result or effect, and that by doing the same things… Continue

The first peace, which is the most important,
is that which comes within the souls of people
when they realize their relationship,
their oneness, with the universe and all its powers,
and when they realize that at the center
of the universe dwells Wakan-Taka (the Great Spirit),
and that this center is really everywhere, it is within each of us.
This is the real peace, and the others are but reflections of this.
The second…Continue

Tread lightly upon this earth, seeing, understanding but never
imposing. Thoughtful, independent, be gracious in victory and defeat.
Free of possessiveness, so ease of mind sweetens relationships. Like
the scent of a rose the untroubled spirit imparts a lasting
fragrance.

All of us here would like to see a more peaceful, more equitable, more just world. The question is what we can do to bring that about.
I blelieve all change starts from oneself. To quote Mahatma Gandhi: You must be the change you want to see in the world.
So I try to find serenity within me, I try to touch Spirit within myself and in others, and I try to learn to live better. I try also to share my own learning with others - through my writings and my personal interaction - so… Continue
